Remember Me Then... See Me Now - World of Opera Concert
March 13, 2016 at 3 pm
On March 13 at 3 pm, Vero Beach Opera presents the World of Opera Concert "Remember Me Then - See Me Now" which brings back four previous winners from Marcello Giordani Foundation International Vocal Competitions. They are soprano Jan Cornelius, mezzo-soprano J'nai Bridges, tenor Viktor Antipenko, and baritone Jonathan Beyer. Vero Beach Opera Music Director Bruce Stasyna will be on piano.
MET opera star Giordani enjoys Vero Beach so much, he moved his last several competitions here! Bridges, Antipenko and Beyer are all winners from these previous Marcello Giordani Foundation International Vocal Competitions held right here in Vero Beach with Vero Beach Opera, and Cornelius is a winner from the New York City competition.
Their futures are all very bright. As an example, Bridges recently completed a three-year residency with the distinguished Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago. To read their bios, visit VeroBeachOpera.org and click the concert link located right in the center of the home page.
Tickets are $30, $40 and $50. Student tickets are half price.
The concert will held at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center which is located at 1707 16th Street in Vero Beach. For tickets call the Box Office at 772-564-5537, and for online ticketing visit www.VeroBeachOpera.org.
