Dog-Friendly Parks in Indian River County

Looking for a place to take your dog in Indian River County? Here are the spots that welcome four-legged visitors.

Vero Beach Dog Park

Vero Beach Dog Park

Hundreds of dogs visit this 5-acre park every week, and it's free to use. You'll find it off Indian River Drive East, just south of the Vero Beach Marina.

Large and small dogs each get their own area, and the large dog area has new shade sails. A separate quiet area is set aside for older dogs and dogs recovering from surgery. On the south side, a shaded spot lets you watch the action.

The park is leased from the City of Vero Beach and managed by an all-volunteer board. Details are at verobeachdogpark.org.

Sebastian Bark Park

Sebastian Park - All You SHOULD Know Before Going 2026 (with Reviews)

This 7.5-acre, volunteer-developed park at 245 Keen Terrace has fenced no-leash areas for large and small dogs.

Beyond the play yards, a walking trail circles a central pond and crosses a bridge. There are shaded picnic tables, doggy drinking fountains and waste stations.
