Got a little one who never stops moving? Kid Fit is a weekly program at the Indian River County Main Library that turns that energy into something fun. It mixes stories with physical activity, so kids get to move around while learning about healthy eating and exercise.
Kid Fit is just for children ages 3 to 6. It is a nice way to fill a Friday morning with something active, give your preschooler some time with other kids their age, and show them that being healthy can be a good time. Library story programs are also an easy way to get young kids excited about books.
The program meets Fridays from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Multimedia Room at the library, 1600 21st Street in Vero Beach. It repeats every week, so if you miss one Friday you can catch the next.
Before you head out, put your child in comfortable shoes and pack a bottle of water, because they will be up and moving. For more details, check the Indian River County Library System calendar or ask at the library.
