Twisted Stitchers

If you have a half-finished scarf in a basket at home, or you have always wanted to learn to knit or crochet, the Twisted Stitchers group at the Indian River County Main Library is a good place to start.

This is a friendly afternoon for adults who like working with yarn. Beginners are welcome, and so are people who already have projects going and want company while they work. Bring what you are making, sit down with other local stitchers, and meet some new friends. The library says it has lots of yarn to share, so you don't need a full stash to join in.

The group meets on the second Monday of each month. The next one is Monday, November 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Large Meeting Room at the IRC Main Library, 1600 21st Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

You don't need to register. Just show up with your needles or hook, or come curious and ready to learn.

If you have questions, the library lists Karrie as the contact at 772-400-6310 or [email protected].
