Some restaurant names come out of a marketing meeting. This one came from a big sister in Brooklyn.
Growing up in Brooklyn, N.Y., the owner of Broogie's was called Broogie by his sister when he was a little boy. After years of owning delis in the Northeast, Brian put that childhood nickname on the sign at his new Vero Beach shop at 3400 Aviation Boulevard. The plan behind it is refreshingly simple: good food and good service keep people coming back for more.
What Is on the Menu?
Breakfast and lunch are both made to order, and the menu reads like a Northeast deli counter. It even settles the old argument at the top of the lunch side: call it a sub, a hero or a wedge, they know what you mean. Prices below are from the menu posted on the restaurant's website as of November 2026.
Breakfast
Mornings start with egg sandwiches from $5.29, and pork roll is on the list, which will mean something to anyone from New Jersey. The Cure stacks two eggs, cheese, your choice of meat, hash brown and chili for $10.99. The New Yorker pairs eggs with pastrami, Swiss, grilled onions and Russian dressing for $8.99. There is a breakfast burrito with guacamole and salsa for $9.99, a lighter Cross Fit wrap with egg whites, turkey, tomato and avocado for $8.99, three egg omelettes from $6.99 and French toast platters. Bagels, croissants, muffins and English muffins round out the counter.
Lunch With Personality
Lunch is where the personality comes out. Many of the specialty sandwiches carry their own names:
- Worker's Delite: hot pastrami, coleslaw, Swiss and mustard on grilled rye, $14.99
- Goodfella: prosciutto, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, arugula and balsamic vinaigrette, $13.99
- Doc Bob: breaded chicken cutlet, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella and basil mayo, $13.99
- Dalton: hot roast beef, coleslaw, bacon, Swiss and Russian dressing on grilled rye, $12.99
- Robby: honey turkey, cranberries, arugula, smoked Gouda and basil mayo, $12.99
- Earl the Pearl: grilled chicken, chili and cheddar in a wrap, $12.99
- Tanner Burger: a burger served inside a grilled cheese with Russian dressing and coleslaw, $10.99
The classics are all there too: a Reuben, a Cuban, an Italian Combo and a cheesesteak, plus cold cuts from turkey to mortadella, burgers, hot dogs, onion rings and fries. Salads run from a simple house salad to a Cobb with grilled chicken, and storemade chili and soup come by the cup or bowl. Adding a hero roll costs $2 on any sandwich.
One to ask about is Rutigliano's Meatballs, which the restaurant describes as a family recipe from the owner's wife. You can get them in the Meatball Parmigiana for $10.99.
