Gallery 14 presents: It's All About Us: Celebrating the Work of Barbara du Pont and Dorothy Napp Schindel. The award winning artists, two of the founding artist-partners of Gallery 14, will showcase photography and mixed media collage. Both new work and old favorites will be featured. Ms. du Pont, known for her dynamic wildlife photography, also captures the drama of relics and everyday structures surrounding us. Ms. Schindel, whose collages range from social commentary to floral and architectural environments, will focus on 'laundry scenes' â€" both here and abroad. The show will run from April 28th through May 30th with an opening reception on Friday May 1 from 5-8pm in conjunction with the Historic Downtown Art District's First Friday Gallery Stroll. All are invited.
Also highlighted, will be new work in oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, mixed media, collage, jewelry, photography, ceramics and sculpture, by Gallery 14 partners: Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Cheri Cruden, Mary Ann Hall, Virginia Knapp, Barbara Landry, Deborah Morrell Polackwich and Shelley Weltman, and represented artists: Francis Mesaros, Carol Staub, Bryan Beck, Joan Earnhart, Terry Green, Walford Campbell, Viola Pace Knudsen and Emily Heinzel.
