LaPorte Farms

LaPorte Farms petting farm with exotic animals is a uniquely beautiful farm located in Sebastian, Florida established in 1994 by Sebastian resident Laura LaPorte. Laura grew up on a farm with cattle, goats, chickens and horses and her love for animals is carried out today in this meticulously maintained farm. We are handicap accessible. Come visit our critters and have lunch on the farm.

McKee Botanical Gardens

McKee Botanical Garden is located on an 18-acre tropical hammock in Vero Beach, FL. The property is home to over 10,000 plants and the state’s largest collections of waterlilies. The Garden houses two historic structures built by Waldo Sexton. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and endorsed by The Garden Conservancy as a project of national significance.

Safari Golf and Games

For fun all around with friends and family, visit Safari Golf and Games for fun times and the only putt-putt in Indian River County. Step up the challenge of our 36 holes of miniature golf, four batting cages, and a 2,000 square foot game room that has a pool, ping pong, air hockey, basketball, foosball, darts and more. It’s quality fun for people of all ages! Our batting cages have four different speeds to accommodate all skill levels, and 12 pitches are only a dollar! The mini golf course is lively and exciting with tunnels, waterfalls, a pond with more than 50 Japanese Coy, and a 25-year-old Macaw named Rainbow there to greet you.

Strike Zone Entertainment Center

14 bowling lanes, a full-service sports bar & restaurant seating for 100 people with golf simulator, pool tables and dart lanes, laser tag arena, a party/conference room and an arcade featuring approximately 45 interactive games, merchandise displays, and redemption counter.

Sebastian Splash Pad

The Splash Pad is a great place to take the little ones on a hot Florida day. Colorful fountain structures spray a cool and refreshing stream of water that offers endless fun for the whole family! The Splash Pad is located in the heart of town at Riverview Park along the Indian River Lagoon.  

North County Aquatic Center

The North County Aquatic Center is a family oriented heated public pool which is open year round. We feature an activity pool, a competition pool, with a diving well and changing facilities. Our activity pool is zero depth for easy entry for all ages. The activity pool has slides, water cannons, bubblers, a water tree and a huge water play structure. The competition pool has almost 1 million gallons of water. We have up to 24 lanes for lap swimming at 25 yards. Our diving well has one meter and three-meter diving boards.

The Vero Beach Museum of Art provides cultural leadership and enrichment through educational, studio art and humanities programs; quality exhibitions; and the collection, preservation, and presentation of American and international works of art.

Pelican Island Wildlife Refuge

Pelican Island is near the town of Sebastian, on Florida’s east central coast in the most biologically diverse estuary in the United States, the Indian River Lagoon. Pelican Island was first protected as a 5.5-acre refuge, but through the efforts of concerned citizens, the State of Florida, management agreements, conservation easements and outright purchase of mangrove islands, uplands, and submerged land surrounding the island, the Refuge has expanded to over 5,400 acres. These valuable additions provide enhanced and restored marsh and lagoon habitat for over 100 species of birds, nine species of threatened and endangered species, and through the support of other agencies, provides the public with opportunities to understand and appreciate the values of this refuge. The primary objective of the refuge is to protect the historical significance of this national landmark.

Sebastian Inlet State Park

Sebastian Inlet State Park is one of the best places to catch snook, redfish and Spanish mackerel on the Atlantic Coast. With more than 3 miles of beach and one of the most consistent surf breaks in Florida, Sebastian Inlet’s “First Peak” draws its share of wave riders. Monster Hole, which is actually a shoal a little farther out, is another internationally known surf spot.

Painted Frog

Painted Frog is a local family-owned ceramic studio in downtown Vero Beach. Just walk in any time from 10 to 10 for a wide assortment of fun and affordable paint your own pottery art projects for every age. We also offer birthday parties, bridal showers, and bachelorette parties.

Royal Palm Pointe Park (Splash Pad)

A wonderful, pedestrian-friendly boulevard of unparalleled beauty with a grand, interactive fountain and dockside open space on the Indian River. Plus quality restaurants, shops, galleries, and businesses help comprise a crown jewel for Vero Beach.
