Zoe Yoga

This event took place on November 9, 2015. See upcoming events in Vero Beach.

When: Mondays Wednesdays

Where: 1789 Old Dixie Hwy

Monday and Wednesday from 2:00-3:00

All are welcome.

Class consists of a gentle flow of stretches (postures) beginning on hands and knees for the warm up, standing postures, a seated (on the mat) cool down, and relaxation in a lay-down position. Classes are $10.00.

The classes are open to anyone that feels like they would like to join. Don’t come with limitations (I don’t mean physical limitations…we all have those) that you put on yourself needlessly. You are not too old, too large, too stiff, too….. to do Yoga.

Come with the attitude that you are “just what you should be at this moment” and if you want to change that you can. It is all in your hands. You just need to take the first step and KEEP ON STEPPING.

BIO -

Zoe Pryor

In 1993, at the age of 46, I was awarded my M.A. Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Certified by Kripalu Center, as a Kripalu Yoga Teacher in Lenox, MA.

I came to Vero in 1995 and stayed until 2001. In that time, I opened The Yoga Studio, the first Yoga Center in Vero; taught Yoga at John’s Island Fitness, Christie’s Fitness, and Orchid Island Fitness. I taught two classes at the Center for the Arts: “Yogic Philosophy and Practice” and “The Second Half of Life” which was a successful and popular class exploring the realities and possibilities of women’s lives after the age of 50. I also started a women’s group in my Studio called “Positive Change Women’s Group.”

I have been BLESSED with good health, have developed an adventurous soul, and have been given opportunities and gifts that have made my life a True Journey. One of the things that has come to me as a True and Magical Gift is Yoga. I love sharing it with people because it does have the ability to change lives. It can change you physically and in many other ways. It is different for everyone, but anyone who stays with it will tell you, it is delightfully surprising.
