Overview

At Riverside Theatre Education, we believe learning to dance is more than memorizing steps it's about developing the physical, intellectual, and emotional skills that will last a lifetime. Our Youth Dance Program serves ages 4–18, led by a faculty of current and former professional dancers.

Each level includes instruction in ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary dance. Students are nurtured in a structured environment that prioritizes discipline, creativity, and joy.

New This Season

We’ve restructured our dance curriculum to blend multiple genres within each level, eliminating guesswork for parents. From creative movement to advanced technique, students receive age-appropriate, skill-based instruction all year long. New students are accepted throughout the school year if space is available.

Class Schedule & Tuition (2025–2026)

• First Steps (Age 4)
  Tuesdays | 4:15 – 5:00 PM
  $150 per quarter

• Beginning Ballet/Jazz (Age 5)
  Thursdays | 4:00 – 5:00 PM
  $150 per quarter

• Level I (Ages 6–7)
  Tuesdays & Thursdays | 5:00 – 6:00 PM
  $300 per quarter

• Level II (Ages 8–10)
  Mondays & Wednesdays | 5:00 – 7:00 PM
  $500 per quarter

• Level III (Ages 11–13)
  Mondays & Wednesdays | 4:00 – 7:00 PM
  $750 per quarter

• Level IV (Ages 13–18)
  Mondays & Wednesdays | 4:00 – 7:00 PM
  $700 per quarter

Important Dates (2025–2026)

• Classes Begin: August 11

• No Class: September 1–2 (Labor Day)

• Quarter 2 Begins: October 6

• Fall Break: November 24–30

• Winter Break: December 17 – January 11

• Quarter 3 Begins: January 12

• Quarter 4 Begins: March 23

• Annual Recital: May 21

Dress Code

• Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes, ballet bun

• Boys: White T-shirt, black tights, ballet shoes

Refund Policy

• Full refund (minus $15 fee) up to 3 days before class

• 50% refund (minus $15 fee) before the second class

• No refunds after the second class
