United States Marine Corps 2026 Birthday Ball

Every November, Marines across the country stop to mark the birthday of their Corps, and here in Vero Beach the Indian River Detachment of the Marine Corps League hosts a ball to do it right. This year's event celebrates the 251st anniversary of the United States Marine Corps.

The United States Marine Corps 2026 Birthday Ball is on Saturday, November 14, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at The Club at Pointe West, 7500 14th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32966.

The evening follows a time-honored schedule. Cocktails start at 5:30 PM, followed by the Presentation of Colors at 6:15 PM. Dinner is served at 6:45 PM, and after dinner comes the Traditional Cake Cutting Ceremony, one of the most meaningful moments of any Marine Corps birthday celebration.

This is a night for Marines, veterans, their families and friends, and anyone in our community who wants to honor the service and traditions of the Corps. If you have never seen a cake cutting ceremony in person, it is a moving piece of history and a fine way to say thank you to the Marines who live among us.

Reservations are required. Please reach out to the Indian River Detachment Marine Corps League for reservation details before you go.
