Current USBC rules will prevail. Entry into the TCYC Tournament is open to USBC Youth and<br />Adult Division sanctioned members in good standing. Bowlers must be 20 years of age or<br />younger as of August 1st, 2020. No PBA card holders - National or Regional Tours, will be<br />allowed to participate.<br />2. Dress Code: All bowlers are required to wear collared/mock collar or USBC youth shirts and<br />slacks. Capris, shorts, skirts and skorts fingertip length will be allowed for ladies.<br />3. This tournament will be conducted on an average basis of two (2) divisions. Individual average<br />breakdowns are as follows: Division 1 will consist of Sport Averages of 160 and above or house<br />averages of 185 and above. All bowlers in Division 1 will bowl scratch; Division 2 will consist of<br />Sport Averages of 159 and below or Non-Sport Averages of 184 and below. Division 2 handicap<br />is 100% of 200. Bowlers may opt to move up in the Scratch division if they request it. This<br />decision needs to be provided to the Tournament director prior to the 1st ball being thrown.<br />4. Highest<br />book sports average of 21 games. Highest book average of 21 games 2020/2021 season if none<br />then highest book average of 21 games 2019/2020. If none will bowl scratch. Tournament<br />average will start after 20 games.<br />5. Pre-registration is highly recommended and can be done via email [email protected] or<br />Phone 772-626-2552. Each tournament will have a maximum number of bowlers. Bowlers on<br />the pre-registration list will be guaranteed a spot into the event. Once the limit has been<br />reached, we will start a waiting list. Pre-registration can be done for any event and will end<br />night before the event. Walk-ins will be permitted the day of the tournament, however, cannot<br />be guaranteed placement in these tournaments. This DOES NOT INCLUDE the Tournament of<br />Champions in December, in which participation is by invitation only. Must place top 3 in each<br />division in any tournament to be invited.<br />6. Standard Tournament Format for both divisions: Bowl 5 games across 10 lanes. The top half in<br />each division will move to Semi-Final round all previous scores will not carry over. Top half will<br />bowl 5 games across 10 lanes. Top 3 in each division will move to step ladder finals (seed #3 vs.<br />seed #2/winner vs. #1 seed).<br />7. Junior Gold will be determined after 5 games with scratch total score. Can move up divisions<br />except for U20 must bowl against U20.<br />8. Prize fund 1 in 5 cash if bowler places, their earnings will be awarded through USBC SMART<br />Account # 13890.<br />9. This tournament is USBC certified. All USBC rules will apply.
