THINK PINK Art Show and Raffle Event

During the month of October - National Breast Cancer Awareness Month - Gallery 14 will present THINK PINK, an art show and sale to benefit Treasure Coast's Friends in Pink, an organization dedicated to helping defray costs of breast cancer treatment for those in need. Recipients of funds raised from sales in this show will be patients residing in Indian River County. Gallery 14 artists, along with breast cancer survivors and patients, will create art where the color PINK figures prominently in every piece. There will be honest exploration, humor, and stark examination of the subject of breast cancer. A raffle kick-off event is presently in progress, with 100% of raffle proceeds going directly to Friends in Pink. The prize is a beautiful large ceramic-metal sculpture entitled: Riding the Pink Wave, created by artist Mia Lindberg. Raffles, which are $20 for one or $50 for three, can be purchased at Gallery 14 OR on-line at www.FriendsInPink.net. A winner will be chosen at the Think Pink Gala Reception on Friday October 7th. Raffle tickets will be available at the Gallery during the First Friday Gallery Stroll Friday August 5, 5-8pm, or during July open hours: Thurs/Fri 11-4, Sat 11-3.
