"The intersection of arts and political activism are two fields defined by a shared focus of creating engagement that shifts boundaries, changes relationships and creates new paradigms” -Anette Blum, Huffington Post

Throughout history, artists have used their talents to comment on political and social movements.  A work of art and create a conversation, promote engagement, and change minds.

The Florida Young Democrats of Indian River are hosting an art show to advocate art as a vehicle for social and political change.  “The Future Is: NOW” is a collaborative show featuring local artists and a variety of mediums.

Participating artists share one common goal; to manifest and cultivate the future for America that they envision though their works.
