Teresa of Avila has a timeless quality to her life & message. She is so well-known that many people often quote her sometimes wise & sometimes sarcastic sayings.
Her life, one of passionate service holds numerous examples that apply to us today.
An incredible intellect she was also down-to-earth, energetic, funny & loving.

Her writings on prayer are consolidated in her book: The Interior Castle. We will spend the morning reflecting on her ideas for prayer & spiritual life.

In the afternoon Teresa’s inspiration will lead us in a creative expression. Using collage, mandalas, papers, & markers we will have fun with glue, color,, & paints – simple techniques to treasure Teresa’s messages in our hearts.
