Summer Creative Writing Camp

This event took place on June 12, 2023. See upcoming events in Vero Beach.

For Middle schoolers who like to tell stories and students who would like to become better writers, the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers a week-long camp on the Mueller Campus of IRSC. Students entering grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 will come for a week of fun-filled activities: nature journaling, pottery, poetry, historic tours and more. Certified teachers will emphasize creative writing skills and presentation, and Librarians at Brackett Library will help with library cards. To ensure high quality, our camps are limited to 12 participants per week.

Our camp leaders are outstanding local teachers who will ensure that all participants get one-on-one attention. Every single camper ends the summer as a published author in a book published by the LRJF Press!
