Stephen Lawson Exhibit: Images of Time

Stephen Lawsons photographic works have been called what memory looks like. Using film (not digital) cameras that he has mechanically modified, Lawson has created fascinating sectioned panoramas shot over varying periods of time. Unlike other time exposures, Lawsons photographs allow viewers to simulate the sensation of actually being on location, while experiencing the fourth dimension. His photographs are composed of dozens, even hundreds, of separate slices of visual reality, each captured at a specific moment in time.
