St. Helen Catholic School will host its annual fundraising Gala “Ties that Bind” in honor of Jim Mattingly on April 8, 2017, at Bent Pine Golf Club.

Jim Mattingly was a beloved teacher at St. Helen Catholic School for 27 years who lost a courageous battle with cancer last summer. It goes without saying that his presence is missed at the school, but his spirit lives on in his fellow teachers and all of his students. The committee feels that naming this year’s Gala event in his honor is a fitting tribute to a man who had such a significant impact on St. Helen Catholic School and our community.

The gala is means to ensure that our academic programs continue to advance. The funds raised at this event have an immediate and positive impact on our students and faculty. They help to provide high quality curriculum and instruction. As a one-to-one iPad program from K-8, our technology budget alone surpasses over $100,000.

Your commitment to suppot this event will ensure that St. Helen Catholic School, a 501(c) (3) charitable organization, continues to serve the educational needs of our students. Keeping Catholic school affordable for families is a top priority, and your commitment to support this event can help tremendously.
