Playtime in the Park (Free)

Riverside Theatre's Playtime in the Park is a free morning of live performance for little ones, and it lands on Saturday, November 14 at 11:00 AM. It's put on by the theatre's education programs, with student performers presenting short dance and theatre offerings on the outdoor Loop Stage.

The theatre says these shows are ideal for kids ages 2 to 5, but parents and the whole family will enjoy them too. On Second Saturdays the students present original, interactive stories built around a theme of the month, and young audience members are invited to join the story in fun and imaginative ways. Shows run about 20 to 30 minutes, so they fit nicely into a toddler's attention span and a Saturday morning.

It's an easy, low-pressure way to introduce kids to live theatre outdoors, right in the neighborhood. Bring the little ones, find a spot, and let them be part of the show.

The event is free and no ticket is required. Riverside Theatre is at 3250 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach. The theatre notes that dates, times and information are subject to change, so it's worth checking with Riverside Theatre at (772) 231-6990 before you head out.
