Open Art Studio

If you like to paint, draw or just try something new, Indian River County Parks & Recreation has an afternoon set aside for you. Open Art Studio is a relaxed, drop-in style session for artists of every skill level, from people who have not picked up a brush in years to those who work on art every week.

The county describes it as a flexible and welcoming program meant to encourage creativity, experimentation and artistic growth. That makes it a good fit if you want a little structure and some company while you work, but no pressure to follow a lesson plan. Bring the project you have been putting off, or come and see what you feel like making.

The first session on this listing is Sunday, November 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and the program repeats. It meets at 1590 9th St. SW in Vero Beach.

Before you go, check the Indian River County Parks and Recreation calendar for the current schedule, any cost, and whether you need to sign up ahead of time. It is a nice way to spend a quiet afternoon making art with neighbors who enjoy the same thing.
