On Friday, May 8, McKee Botanical Garden will offer one free admission to the Garden with any paid admission (with coupon) in celebration of National Public Gardens Day.

Presented by the American Public Gardens Association (APGA), National Public Gardens Day is an annual celebration to raise awareness about the important role botanical gardens and arboreta play in promoting environmental stewardship, plant and water conservation, green spaces, and education in communities nationwide.

"We are pleased to participate in National Public Gardens Day, which recognizes the significance of public gardens and what they contribute to their communities,” said Christine Hobart, executive director of McKee Botanical Garden. “It's a day for residents to come and learn more about McKee - from its unique plant collections and horticultural beauty to educational programs and conservation efforts. The Garden is a resource for all to enjoy.”

To take advantage of the buy one, get one free admission offer, please visit McKee Botanical Garden's page on the National Public Gardens Day website at and click on 'Get this Offer.' Coupon must be presented at the time of purchase.

McKee Botanical Garden is one of more than 550 North American gardens, arboreta, museums, and zoos that will celebrate this year’s National Public Gardens Day. For more information on National Public Gardens Day, visit www.nationalpublicgardensday.org.
