Manatee Fest is coming to the Manatee Center in Fort Pierce on Saturday, November 21, and it is a great excuse to spend a morning on the river with the kids.
The Manatee Observation and Education Center is opening its doors for a day of celebration. The organizers promise activities, games, cake, face painting and more. Admission is free all day, which makes this an easy outing for families, grandparents with little ones in tow, or anyone who has been meaning to visit the center and hasn't made it over yet.
If you have never been, the Manatee Center is a friendly little spot on the Indian River Lagoon where you can learn about manatees and the waters they call home. A festival day is a fun way to see it for the first time, and a nice reason to go back if you already love it.
The details: Manatee Fest runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at the Manatee Center, 480 N Indian River Drive, Fort Pierce, FL 34950. Admission is free all day. Questions can go to the center at (772) 429-6266.
Pack some sunscreen, bring the kids, and come enjoy a sunny Saturday by the water with your neighbors.
