This event took place on October 30, 2021. See upcoming events in Vero Beach.

Facilitated By: Sexual Assault Assistance Program

Location: United Against Poverty Indian River North 1400 27th Street Vero Beach, FL 32960

Date: Saturday, October 30th at 1:30PM-2:30PM

This is not group therapy, but rather a supportive, non-judgmental space to provide empowerment, encouragement, and healing. Each participant will create a mask that explores the duality of your experiences as a victim and as a survivor of sexual violence. The workshop will allow participants to express the complex feelings that followed their trauma. The mask also serves to validate the choice they are making to heal and not allow the experience of sexual violence define who they are. All supplies will be provided. Advocates will be present during ALL workshops to facilitate and guide you every step of the way
