When: Daily

Where: Historic Dodgertown Vero Beach, 3901 26th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960

Baseball is America's pastime, and what better way to celebrate Independence Day than with a baseball tournament at Historic Dodgertown.

More than 40 teams with players from 9 to 18-years-of-age and from all points in Florida, Georgia, New York, and Ohio, as well as two teams from the Dominican Republic, will play here in Vero Beach over the July 4th long-weekend, with games scheduled on all eight full fields and at Holman Stadium.

The community is invited to come out to watch exciting youth baseball. Parking at Historic Dodgertown is free, and admission is $5 per person, per day. Children 7-years-and-under receive free admission.

Baseball's cross-generational and family appeal are what make it America's pastime. Dads and moms, boys and girls, grandfathers and grandmothers can share their love of the game, cite their favorite players, and recall the memories of attending games with family and friends.

It will be an exciting weekend of baseball. Come on out and join the fun!
