Humane Society Thrift Shops Tax-Exempt Holiday

The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County's (HSVBIRC) two thrift shops will be participating in the Back to School Tax-Exempt Holiday Event August 5-7. The shelter’s thrift stores carry a wide assortment of school-related items including clothing, shoes, handbags, backpacks, classroom supplies and more. Students and parents will also enjoy browsing in each store's “Young and Trendy†area which has a variety of contemporary clothing and accessories - including many items that have been saved especially for this event.
Hours for both thrift shops during the Back to School Tax-Exempt Holiday Event are Friday, August 5th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, August 6th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, August 7th from noon to 4 p.m. The Humane Society's Vero Beach Thrift Shop is located at 4425 20th St., Vero Beach, while the Sebastian Thrift Shop can be found at 441 Sebastian Blvd. (CR 512). Proceeds from all sales will directly benefit the animals of Indian River County.
