Gala 2026 From Sea To Shining Sea

This event took place on January 30, 2026. See upcoming events in Vero Beach.

Join Hollis Forbes and the GALA Committee for an elegant evening celebrating America’s beauty, flavor, and creativity. The night begins under the stars with cocktails, lively conversation, and a tasting tour of regional favorites—from lobster rolls to BBQ—paired with the timeless sounds of the Great American Songbook. Afterward, step inside the museum to explore American Made: Painting and Sculpture from the DeMell Jacobsen Collection, featuring more than 80 works by celebrated artists such as Edward Moran, John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt, Robert Henri, and Charles Alston. Spanning 250 years, the collection reflects the nation’s cultural, social, and artistic evolution. Dinner will feature more coast-to-coast culinary delights in a beautiful setting among the museum’s treasures. Seating is first-come, first-served, so early reservations are encouraged—this event is expected to sell out quickly.
