Friday Fest

Friday Fest is back in downtown Fort Pierce tonight, Friday, November 6, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Marina Square, 1 Avenue A. Main Street Fort Pierce calls it the longest running street party on the Treasure Coast, and Indian River Magazine readers voted it the best festival.

This month it doubles as Community Night Out. Expect food vendors, arts and crafts, and activities for all ages, so it works for families, couples, and anyone who just wants a relaxed evening by the water.

The Whippersnapper Mountain Boys are playing, and Voices for Children is this month's volunteer group. One fan on the organizer's page called it "a block party and a festival combined," and that sounds about right.

If you are new to the area, this is an easy way to meet your neighbors. Main Street Fort Pierce says it built Friday Fest as the festival for newcomers, and plenty of them end up keeping their first Friday of the month open for it.

The organizer's page does not mention tickets or registration. For questions, contact Main Street Fort Pierce at 772.466.3880 or [email protected]. The City of Fort Pierce also posts a downtown parking guide on its website.
