Youth Sailing Foundation (YSF) of Indian River County will host the First Annual Fall 420 Regatta. Sailors from the Melbourne Yacht Club, Youth Sailing Foundation of Palm Beach, and U.S. Sailing Center of Martin County will compete with local YSF sailors for line honors over a series of seven races. Overall regatta winners are determined by the cumulative score.
The community can view races from personal watercraft on the Indian River Lagoon, or from the waterfront lawn on the grounds of the Vero Beach Waste Water Treatment Plant, located just south of the 17th Street Bridge (entrance off Indian River Boulevard).  Gates open at 9 AM.
The regatta is open to teen 420 sailors who want to compete. More information and online registration can be found at www.ysfirc.org/programs/regattas.
