High school and college students, this one is for you. Every Monday afternoon, the Indian River County Library System opens a drop-in space called Student Brain Breaks, a relaxed spot to step away from classes, homework and screens for a little while.
The idea is simple. Come take a break, hang out with friends, get creative and unwind. The library sets out crafts, games, movies, handpicked book selections and, in their words, "other surprises." Stay for ten minutes between classes or settle in for the afternoon.
You don't need to plan ahead. Supplies are provided, no registration is required, and you can stop by any time during the open hours. It is a nice, low-pressure way to recharge in the middle of a busy week, and a good excuse to bring a friend along.
When: Every Monday, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Where: The Small Conference Room at the Richardson Center, 6155 College Ln, Vero Beach, FL 32966.
Questions? The library lists Hollie as the contact at 772-400-6366 or [email protected].
