Cork, Canvas & Company Painting Workshop

Looking for an easy, relaxed night out with friends? Cork, Canvas & Company is a guided painting evening held in the studios at the Vero Beach Museum of Art. A professional instructor walks everyone through creating their own artwork, step by step, and you go home with a finished painting.

You do not need any experience. The museum provides all the art materials, and you are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks. It is a good fit for a date night, a girls' night, or a chance to try something new with a neighbor.

Classes meet on select Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in VBMA Studio 2 at 3001 Riverside Park Drive. Each session has its own theme, and Barry Shapiro is the instructor. Coming up: "Sail Away" on November 19, "Cat's Meow" on December 3, "Snowfall Serenity" on December 17, "Rolling Waves" on January 7, "Paint the Town" on January 21, and "Blossom Burst" on February 4.

Each class costs $45, and you register for each session separately through the museum's Cork, Canvas & Company page. If you need a refund, ask the museum's Education Department at least one week before your class.
