Looking for an easy way to get out of the house on a Thursday afternoon? Indian River County Parks & Recreation hosts Board Games for adults at the Intergenerational Recreation Center, and it is about as relaxed as it gets.
The idea is simple: show up, pull up a chair, and play. The county provides a selection of classic and modern board games on site, so you do not need to bring anything. Whether you have been playing for years or just want to try something new, you will find a game and some friendly company. It is a nice chance to meet new people, share a few laughs, and enjoy a little friendly competition.
Board Games runs every Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Intergenerational Recreation Center, 1590 9th St. SW, Vero Beach. It is open to adults 18 and older, and the cost is $1.00.
No registration is needed. Just drop in. For more information about this program or other county recreation programs, call Indian River County Parks & Recreation at 772-226-1780.
