Get ready to strut your favorite mutts at the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County’s (HSVB & IRC) fifth annual Bark in the Park festival. This fun-filled event is set for Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at Riverside Park, located at 3200 Riverside Drive in Vero Beach. Bark in the Park is a kid-friendly and dog-friendly event that’s free to attend.

Join us at 10:00 a.m. as we kick off Bark in the Park with an amusing dog parade around Riverside Park. Afterwards, there will be shows throughout the day performed by the world-famous Disc-Connected K9’s World Famous Frisbee Dogs and K-9 demonstrations by the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. Bark in the Park will also feature a fun dog lure course, an agility course, a kid’s zone, food and beverages. Need a fun item for Fido? Bark in the Park vendors will be on hand with a wide variety of dog supplies as well as pet-themed shirts, gifts, jewelry and much, much more.

Bark in the Park attendees can meet many of The Humane Society’s dogs available for adoption. Can’t adopt? Consider starting fundraising “pack” with family and friends to help raise money for Indian River County animals in need. For more information about attending, sponsorship and vending opportunities or creating a “pack,” please call Jennifer Downes at (772) 388-3826.
