Satisfying that craving for sweets and helping out a local breast and women’s cancer support group all at once- that’s what you can do this year during the annual bake sale hosted by Mark’s at the Pointe Salon & Boutique on October 12, 13 & 14. All proceeds benefit Friends After Diagnosis, which meets four times per month in Vero Beach and Sebastian. The tasty treats will be available for sale 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the 12th and 13th and until 5 p.m. on Saturday the 14th. Rather bake than eat? No problem! Donations of non-perishable and non-refrigerated baked goods are welcome and may be dropped off in the morning to have available during the day. Gluten-free items are welcome, too!
