Adults: French Conversation

If you have some French tucked away from school, travel, or a few years abroad, here is a friendly way to dust it off. The North Indian River County Library in Sebastian is partnering with Leslie Branch to host an informal French conversation meetup for some Francophile fun.

This is a relaxed get-together for people who already have some French under their belt and want to practice and build their speaking skills with others. The library notes it is not meant for beginners. It is a chance for anyone with prior French language experience to connect and chat.

It is a drop-in gathering, so there is no registration, and you do not have to stay the whole time. Stop by when you can, join the conversation, and leave when you need to. It is a nice way to keep a language alive and meet neighbors who love it too.

When: Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The group meets on the third Saturday of each month.

Where: North IRC Library, Conference Room, 1001 Sebastian Blvd, Sebastian, FL 32958.

Questions? The library lists Katherine as the contact, at 772-400-6360 or [email protected].
