Join AAUW Vero Beach for its first Book Review Breakfast of the 2016-17 season. Carolyn Thornton Nelson, a Vero Beach native, will review Dreams by Olive Schreiner, a South African author who has been called “the most formidable interpretive intellect that South Africa has produced.” This collection of eleven short stories is based on the author's dreams and her life on a South African farm. Public Opinion, in its review, said, "The book stands as the only one of its kind. It is like seeing visions to read it; and no one can read it understandingly and not be inspired to fresh struggles to attain the true, the good, and the beautiful."
