Meet the artist, learn from her practice, create your own art
The Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA) welcomes back exhibiting abstract artist Jill Nathanson on October 17, 2026, for a hands-on workshop designed for intermediate-level artists.
Workshop: Abstract Painting, Past, Present, Personal
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Nathanson will guide registered students through techniques exploring abstraction via color, composition, and personal expression. Cost is $200 for VBMA members and $235 for nonmembers.
Artist-Led Exhibition Walkthrough
At 3 p.m., Nathanson leads a walkthrough of her exhibition Chromatic Phrases, sharing insight into her creative process and studio practice, a closer look at how her layered works come to life. Free for members, $12 for nonmembers. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
About the Exhibition
Chromatic Phrases is curated by VBMA Chief Curator Caitlin Swindell and on view through February 7, 2027. All works on display are on loan courtesy of the artist and Berry Campbell Gallery, New York.
