Treasure Coast Food Bank's Mobile Market: Fresh Food, On the Move

In Florida's Treasure Coast, where rural roads and economic challenges can limit access to fresh groceries, the Treasure Coast Food Bank's Mobile Market brings healthy food directly to the heart of local communities. Designed to combat food insecurity, this mobile grocery store delivers fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy, eggs, and more in Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee counties.

Unlike traditional food pantries, the Mobile Market offers a dignified, choice-based shopping experience. Visitors select what fits their needs from a fully stocked vehicle, mirroring the experience of walking through a grocery store aisle only it comes to them. This thoughtful system promotes autonomy, reduces food waste, and fosters respect.

Each week, over 150,000 people rely on the Food Bank's services, including the Mobile Market. In addition to its year-round service, the Food Bank hosts its annual "Bid to Beat Hunger" Online Auction (April 25 - May 5), where local businesses can donate goods or experiences.
