There is something fitting about a chorus that has been filling Vero Beach with music for 25 years choosing the cosmos as the theme for its anniversary season opener.
The Treasure Coast Chorale kicks off its 25th season with a concert called All Creation Sings, set for 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, at First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Ave., Vero Beach. The program draws its spirit from the wonders of the universe and how every creature on Earth fits into something far larger than itself.
The evening carries extra meaning because it also marks two milestones for First Baptist, the Chorale's home church since the group was founded. Dr. Michael Carter celebrates 30 years as minister of music there, and Dr. Joe LaGuardia marks a decade as the church's pastor.
LaGuardia brings a personal dimension to the night. He returned recently from a sabbatical spent studying the cosmos and wrestling with big questions about our place in the universe, and that journey weaves through the spirit of the concert.
The full 2026-27 season promises music, laughter, reflection, and a renewal of vows honoring the connections that have held this community together for a quarter century.
Have you been following the Treasure Coast Chorale since its early days, or is November 8 your first time hearing them? We would love to know what brings you out for a night like this. Tell us in the comments on our Facebook post.
