Annual Swim/Paddle to The Wreck
Swim/Paddle to the Wreck at Costa d'Este - 4th of July Morning Tradition
Join us at Costa d'Este Beach Resort for the annual Swim/Paddle to the Wreck, a beloved Vero Beach tradition now in its 20th year! Whether you're swimming, paddling, floating, or just watching from the shore, this is the perfect way to start your 4th of July.
No RSVP required, just show up! Sunrise is at 6:31 AM, and the swim is about 1/4 mile offshore. Kayaks, paddleboards, floats, masks, and snorkels are all welcome.
Enjoy the action from the sand with beachside offerings available for purchase:
- Bloody Mary Bar
- Mimosas & Seltzers
- Bottled Water
- Morning Snacks
After the swim, head up to Cabana Bar for a delicious All-American Breakfast special.
This event has grown from just 20 swimmers to over 1,000 attendees. Come be a part of the tradition!

Stars Over St. Lucie Festival & Fireworks
Join Main Street Fort Pierce for Stars Over St. Lucie
Friday, July 4, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM
Waterfront at Marina Square
Enjoy food, drinks, and free kid-friendly activities. Fort Pierce Utilities Authority will display a large American flag along the waterfront. Live music by R.J. Preston will lead up to the fireworks.
Fireworks begin at 9:00 PM over the riverfront near Downtown and Fort Pierce City Marina.

- Old JC Penney Parking Lot (S. Indian River Dr. between Orange Ave. & Ave A)
- Parking Lot (N. Indian River Dr. between Ave D & Cedar Pl.) - new location
The parking lot at N. Indian River Dr. between A.E. Backus & Ave D is private property and no longer available for public parking. Parking in private or no-parking areas may result in towing.
