Paige Charbonneau Takes the Mirrorball at 14th Annual Dancing with Vero's Stars

Paige Charbonneau and her professional partner Edwin Rivera claimed the Mirrorball trophy Saturday night at the 14th annual Dancing with Vero's Stars, held at Riverside Theatre. The competition splits its scoring between judge evaluations and dollars raised, and the pair came out on top in both categories.

The bigger story of the evening may be what happened on the fundraising side. The event brought in over $660,000 for the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition, nearly three times last year's record-setting $230,000. Every dollar raised goes toward critical services for mothers, babies, and families across the county.

Charbonneau, owner of Studio Eleven Day Spa & Boutique, brought a competitive cheerleading and dance background to the floor. Rivera was no stranger to the spotlight either, having earned a perfect score during a standout appearance in a previous year's competition. The combination proved formidable.

The night's success didn't happen by accident. This year's committee, led by chair Ron Toperzer alongside Stefanie Blackburn, Ben Earman, Nicki Maslin, Frida Randolfi, Chloe Rose Schwartz, Melissa Shine, Jackie Stoelting, and Taylor Farnsworth, put in the behind-the-scenes work that made the record-breaking result possible. Healthy Start CEO Megan McFall and her development team, Grace Simonsen and Adrianne Ward, helped drive the fundraising effort that turned a beloved local event into something genuinely remarkable.
