The Environmental Learning Center invites families to experience the magic of the holidays in an entirely new way this December. WinterGreen Night Lights returns on December 12 & 13, 2025, transforming the Center's 64-acre lagoon island campus into an enchanting evening celebration inspired by the natural world.
This beloved event offers a rare opportunity to explore the Environmental Learning Center after sunset, when trails, boardwalks, and exhibits take on a completely different character. Twinkling lights guide visitors along winding paths while lanterns cast a warm glow across gathering areas, creating an atmosphere that's both festive and peaceful.
A Full Evening of Nature-Inspired Activities
Families can enjoy a diverse range of activities designed for all ages. The touch tank and aquariums remain open for evening exploration, allowing guests to interact with local marine life under the stars. Children will delight in the nature playscape, reimagined for nighttime adventure.
Creative hands-on crafts provide opportunities for making nature-inspired keepsakes, while stargazing through a high-powered telescope offers breathtaking views of the winter sky.
