If you have ever wanted to try watercolor, here is a relaxed way to start. The Indian River County Main Library hosts a Watercolor Painting class on the fourth Wednesday of each month. The next one is Wednesday, November 25, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
The library says it simply: watercolor painting can be a lot of fun and a great way to express your creativity. In this class you will learn the watercolor technique of painting. It suits first-timers who want a gentle introduction, and anyone who already paints and would enjoy an hour of company and color.
The class is intended for adults. It meets in the Meeting Room at the Main Library, 1600 21st Street in Vero Beach.
Registration is required, so call or email ahead. Contact Karrie at 772-400-6310 or [email protected] to save your spot. An hour of painting on a Wednesday afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving, sounds like a nice way to slow down before the holiday.
