PE at the IG

Looking for a fun way to get the kids moving after school? Indian River County Parks and Recreation runs PE at the iG, a program for children built around exercise, social time with other kids, and healthy habits.

The idea is simple. Kids get active, play alongside new friends, and pick up habits that help them stay healthy as they grow. It is a nice way to burn off some energy in the afternoon and a good chance for children to build confidence while having fun with their peers.

The program runs on a repeating schedule. The next session is Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It takes place at the Intergenerational Recreation Center (the iG Center), 1590 9th St SW, Vero Beach, FL 32962.

Cost, age range and sign-up details were not posted on the public listing, so call the iG Center at (772) 226-1780 before you go to confirm the schedule and anything you need to bring or register for. The county runs its rec center programs, so the iG Center staff are the best people to ask.

If your kids have energy to spare, PE at the iG is worth a look.
