Guided Nature Walk for ELC Members

Join our knowledgeable nature guides/ history enthusiasts for a comfortably paced walk of the Ansin Riverfront Conservation Area.

Enjoy this easy one mile in and out hike that comprises beautiful mesic hammock and scrub habitat, adjacent to the Sebastian River. Giant swamp hickory, bromeliad laden oaks and Florida wild olive trees will shade our walk while we will also be talking about the different species of epiphytes (plants that grow primarily on the surface of trees) that are native to Florida and how they interact with their environment.

Guided Nature Tours are available for ELC Members only and are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month.

Registered attendees should bring water, bug spray, and wear comfortable walking shoes.Included with ELC Membership 20 person max
