Baby Story Time is a weekly hour for the littlest readers and their grown-ups at the Indian River County Main Library in Vero Beach. It happens in the Youth Activity Room, and if you have a baby at home it is a lovely way to start a Monday morning.
The library says each story time has age-appropriate stories, songs, creative dramatics, dance and crafts. That means plenty of movement and music, not just sitting still for a book. Babies get to hear new words and rhythms. Parents and caregivers get an easy outing and a chance to meet other families with little ones.
The library's calendar lists it every Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with the current run of dates going through the end of November 2026. The library skips some weeks during the year, so check the county calendar before you head over.
You will find it at the Main Library, 1600 21st Street in Vero Beach, in the Youth Activity Room. You do not need to register, so just come on in.
It is a sweet, low-key way to give your baby an early love of stories and to get to know your neighborhood library.
