Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 7, 2026, as the Annual Doggie & Pet Palooza takes over the Indian River Fairgrounds (7955 58th Ave., Vero Beach) from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This beloved community event combines family-friendly entertainment with meaningful support for local animal welfare organizations.
Supporting Those Who Save Animals
The Doggie & Pet Palooza serves as a vital fundraiser for several nonprofit wildlife animal rescue and rehabilitation organizations. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet rescued animals up close and learn about the important work these groups do throughout the community. Throughout the day, nonprofits will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win over 30 exciting prizes, with drawings held every hour.
Adoptable Pets Looking for Forever Homes
Dogs & Cats Forever will be on-site with adorable, adoptable kittens and dogs ready to meet their future families. If you've been considering adding a four-legged member to your household, this is the perfect opportunity to find your new best friend.
Special Raffle: Support K-9 Heroes
One of the event's standout raffles benefits the Indian River County Sheriff's K-9 unit. Participants can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a 3-night Bahamas cruise, generously donated by Jill Venturi of Cruise One and Celebrity Cruise Lines. Proceeds will provide bullet-proof and knife-proof vests to protect the K-9s who serve our community.
Entertainment for the Whole Family
The day is packed with activities for animal lovers of all ages:
- Pet Fashion Show (11:30 AM) - Watch as stylish pets strut their stuff on the runway
