Kent Taylor Brown

Kent Taylor Brown is an accomplished musician and solo entertainer. Originally from Kansas, Kent brings the core values of his Midwest upbringing, hard work and personal integrity to his profession and passion, playing music.

Like most children of the 50's & 60's Kent's first musical instrument was the piano and with the explosion of rock-n-roll, the guitar soon followed. Kent's first 'professional' gig was at age 13 and ever since he has never stopped playing music of all styles in a wide variety of venues.

While 21st century technology and economics have changed the meaning of the one-man band, Kent has embraced the technology but does not let it define his music. By playing the bass line with his feet, the use of backing tracks are kept to a minimum. This allows each performance to follow it's own unique direction.

Not content with performing as a 'one-man band', Kent is also a band leader and much sought after sideman. For the past fifteen years Kent has been performing along the Atlantic coast of Florida, enjoying the beautiful sunshine and happy audiences, and is in constant demand as both a performer and an instructor.
