If you have been looking for affordable art for your home or office, VNA Hidden Treasures Thrift Store just got a notable haul. Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital donated 81 framed pieces to the store as part of an ongoing facility refresh and rebranding, and the artwork runs the range from small prints to large wall pieces.
Every dollar raised from those sales goes directly to VNA Hospice House and the programs run by the Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast, including home health services and community outreach.
Amanda Davidson, chief financial officer of Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital, said the hospital wanted items it no longer uses to still serve a meaningful purpose, and that supporting VNA Hidden Treasures lets the pieces "directly contribute to programs that provide comfort and care to those who need it most."
So if you have a bare wall and a soft spot for hospice care, this could be your excuse to stop in. Have you ever found something unexpected at VNA Hidden Treasures? Tell us in the comments on our Facebook post.
