Walking Tree Brewery has achieved quite a bit in their 5 years of business on the Treasure Coast. Their most recent success comes with the addition of their new canning line and expanded distribution footprint throughout Central Florida. Keep an eye out for their independent craft brews in your local package stores, restaurants, and bottle shops. Their beer has won several Best Florida Beer awards, a Bronze Medal at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival for their Duke Snider’s Imperial Stout, and Silver Medal at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival for their Barnacled Manatee Barleywine. In addition to its several accolades, Walking Tree Brewery has been a vessel to give back to the community that most of its employees grew up in. “In the last 5 years we have had the opportunity to demonstrate our vision which is staying community rooted. Assisting non-profits in their efforts to achieve their goals has been one of our greatest privileges. We’re looking forward to the next 5 years of helping out our community any way we can.” said Brooke Malone, Events & Marketing manager at Walking Tree Brewery. Over the last 5 years, the company has raised thousands of dollars for local, state, and national non-profits. A portion of the proceeds of this year’s anniversary block party will go to the Ocean Research and Conservation Association (ORCA.) ORCA works to protect and restore local aquatic ecosystems and the species they sustain through the development of innovative technologies and science-based conservation action.
Walking Tree Brewery will serve their award-winning, independent craft beer inside and outside of the brewery throughout the event and plans to release several limited, specialty brews from their cellar to celebrate 5 years of business. Among the specialty selection will be: 2016 and 2017 Barnacled Manatee Barleywine, 2017 Bourbon Barrel Aged Breconshire Imperial Porter, and 2018 Double Barrel Duke Snider’s Imperial Stout. 5 years in business is a milestone for our community and the craft beer industry.
