Behind everything we do, there are people like you who make it happen. When you give, join a United Way group or volunteer, you become a powerful agent of change– helping to improve the odds for children and families throughout our community. And, there’s no shortage of ways to get involved.

It’s easy to KEEP BREVARD BEAUTIFUL – with a team effort. Working together we can make strides daily to beautify Brevard County.

Volunteering is a great way to share your skills, teach others, learn something new, or to simply help protect our local resources. We work with volunteers of all ages on a variety of short and long-term projects. Volunteer Work Adds Up! In 2008, 33,835 volunteers gave their time and resources to Brevard County programs for a total of 835,997 hours of work. The total value is calculated using $18.04 per hour figure which equals $15,081,385 in savings to taxpayers!!

Volunteering with Space Coast Habitat for Humanity makes the dream of home ownership a reality for low-income families in Brevard County.

Our mission depends on the hard work of volunteers. Whether it is swinging a hammer on the building site, launching an idea at a committee meeting, or organizing ReStore donations, volunteers are critical to every part of our vision to ensure everyone in Brevard County has the opportunity for safe, affordable housing.

Volunteering at events that help feed our kids is also vital. You can also have a food drive with your group, church or family. All these are volunteer efforts that help feed hungry children locally.

Our volunteers and interns play a vital role in helping the thousands of patients we treat on a yearly basis. Please choose which option you are interested in for more information on how to become a part this amazing team!

The mission of the SPCA of Brevard is to protect and provide a voice for homeless animals. We live that mission every day with the support of our volunteers. If you want to make a difference in the lives of animals, we invite you to join our team!

Our mission is to provide free medical care in a compassionate and professional manner to the uninsured of Brevard County. Furthermore, we will emphasize the importance of preventative medicine and health education. Space Coast Volunteers in Medicine will adhere to the principles, guidelines and ethics established by the national organization – Volunteers in Medicine – located in Burlington, VT. Space Coast Volunteers in Medicine will practice a ‘Culture of Caring’ at all times as detailed by Volunteers in Medicine Founder, Dr. Jack McConnell.
