Celebrate Independence Day with a splash on July 4th at 8:00 a.m. with the ORIGINAL Swim to the Wreck! Join us as we commemorate our nation’s 248th birthday with a swim to the SS Breconshire, also known as the Boiler Wreck, and enjoy a champagne toast at the flag on the wreck. What started 20 years ago with just under 20 swimmers has now grown to over 1,000 participants. Everyone is welcome, whether you swim, float, kayak, or paddleboard. We’ll meet behind the Ocean Grill with parking at Sexton Plaza. This is a BYOB event, so bring your favorite drink and a fun spirit for a memorable morning! No RSVP needed—just show up and join the fun!

Family fun event held with The City of Vero Beach on the 4th of July from 1:30-4:00 pm where hot dogs are only $1!! We will have a live DJ, great food and drinks, children’s activities, a hot dog eating competition and Top Dog Hot Dog Challenge for 10 local competing restaurants!
Get ready to sail into the patriotic spirit with Fort Pierce Yacht Club’s 4th of July Patriotic Boat Parade! Decorate your boats in red, white, and blue, and rendezvous at the “Turning Basin” by Derecktor at 11:45am.

Looking for something fun to do as part of your 4th of July festivities? Sign up to serve with us at the City of Sebastian’s Freedom Festival. We’ll have a couple of tents set up where we’ll provide free balloon animals, a photo op, and have the opportunity to talk with the people of our community to meet them where they’re at in hopes of connecting them with the church and to a relationship with Jesus. The event is from 8am-4pm at Riverview Park.
